VILLAGERS in Neilston squeezed some more out of summer as they enjoyed a community fun day.

The event was entirely free of charge to ensure that everyone in the community could enjoy a great day out.

It was organised by a group of Christians in the village, who were rewarded with bright sunshine and warm temperatures.

A whole host of activities, including a beat-the-goalie competition, nail painting, and bubble making, were on offer.

There was also live music, as well as craft stalls which gave local traders and artists the chance to display their goods.

Children were also given the chance to take part in a soap-making session which saw them take the products home with them.
