The heat was on as a Barrhead school staged its summer fete.
People of all ages who went along to the event at St Mark’s Primary on Saturday were able to enjoy temperatures that soared past 20 degrees Celsius.
A host of stalls, activities and games were on offer, with around £1,000 raised for school funds.
And it was a busy day for pupils who manned stalls as part of the school’s Young Enterprise programme.
One of the ideas the children came up with was to sell a calendar filled with pictures drawn by the pupils, which could be pre-ordered on the day.
And creative kids from primary three had the idea to pin up some baby pictures of their teachers and ask people to guess who was who.
Also making an appearance were members of the emergency services, with a fire engine proving to be a popular attraction.
Emma Cuthbert, chair of the school’s Parent Council, said: “The turnout was fabulous and the children all really enjoyed themselves.
“We had a lovely selection of stalls and bouncy castles, as well as a raffle and candy floss. It was a great day.”
