A GANG of vandals broke into a Barrhead school before damaging IT equipment in several of its classrooms.
The four-strong group of yobs, who are all men, went on the rampage after forcing their way into St Luke's High in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Though their identities are not yet known, police reviewing CCTV images believe one member of the group to be in his late teens.
Sergeant Michael Morganthaler, based at Giffnock Police Station, said: "At 2am on Sunday, December 17, St Luke's High was broken into by a group of four men.
"Damage was caused to IT equipment in a number of classrooms within the school.
"One of the men appears to be in his late teens. The ages of the rest of the suspects are not known.
"Enquiries are ongoing to identify the suspects."
