CHILDREN can send a letter to Santa when a Christmas show rolls into Barrhead.

The McDougalls’ Theatre Company is bringing its festive production, Chaos at Christmas, and is encouraging youngsters to take their wish-list along to send off to Lapland during the performance.

Each child who posts a letter can expect a personalised response from Father Christmas himself via the Royal Mail scheme.

They will also have a chance to win a family pantomime pass for Snow White and the Seven Wee Muppets, which is heading to Eastwood Park Theatre in late December.

Recently awarded five stars by the UK Theatre Network, Chaos at Christmas’ energetic performers create a magical, musical experience for children of all ages, as well as the grown-ups.

The show, set on Christmas Eve, features the usual ringing sleigh bells and festive fun – before everything starts to go wrong.

Things start to go topsy turvy when Santa tries to fit down the chimney and gets stuck and only the audience members can help him out.

The production is suitable for little ones aged two and above and will take place at the Barrhead Foundry on December 6, at 2pm, and December 7, from 11am.

Tickets cost £7 for adults and £6 for concessions.
