A BARRHEAD clothes store has been named as a finalist in a prestigious business competition – and is calling on fashionistas for some support.
The team at Moda Dea, in Cross Arthurlie Street, hope to secure the Best Women’s Fashion Boutique honour at this year’s Glasgow Retail Business Awards.
Moda Dea has earned a glowing reputation for its collection of evening wear and accommodating range of sizes, from eight up to 26.
Now members of the public are being asked to vote for the business ahead of the awards ceremony at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel on Wednesday, December 6.
Store owner Rosemarie McInally said: “We are delighted to be in the finals for best boutique, it is a great honour.
“Secret shoppers came in and organisers will be sending more in later this year ahead of the awards on December 6.
“I think we have been recognised for this award as we have excellent customer service and a real passion for fashion.”
“We have had many years of dressing people and always get comments about what a fantastic experience our customers receive and the great range we have in store.”
Businesses compete by region and winners then have the option of going forward to compete nationally at the Scottish Business Awards.
