WALKING football sessions are due to begin in Barrhead.
Held at Barrhead Foundry, the programme will be open to young boys and girls and elderly men and women.
Matches are designed to keep players healthy, improve flexibility and co-ordination and build strength.
Walking football helps to improve balance and is suitable for those who have difficulty running.
Full details have still to be released, however, the first six sessions will be free.
Barrhead Community Sports Hub (BCSH) has announced opening sessions are to be held throughout March.
For more information, contact the Foundry on 0141 580 1174 or message the BCSH on Facebook.
