THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) SCOTLAND REGULATIONS 2017 NOTICE UNDER REGULATION 27
The proposed development to Land to the west of West Auchenlongford, Sorn, KA5 6JF, is subject to environmental impact assessment under the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2017. Notice is hereby given that additional information in relation to an EIA report has been submitted to East Ayrshire Council by Wind Estate (UK) Ltd, relating to the planning application in respect of the Development of a wind farm consisting of up to 5 wind turbines with blade tip heights between 134.5 metres to 149.5 metres and associated development notified to you under the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013 on 28th of July 2020. A copy of the additional information together with the EIA report, the associated application and other documents submitted with the application, would normally be available for public inspection in person. In line with the Town and Country Planning (Miscellaneous Temporary Modifications) (Coronavirus) (Scotland) Regulations 2020, the additional information and other information in support of the application is only available to view online at
(using reference 20/0318/PP).
Any person who wishes to make representations to East Ayrshire Council about the additional information should make them in writing to the Council within 30 days beginning with the date of this notice and submit them (i), by e-mail to
(ii) online athttps://eplanning.east-ayrshire
or (iii) by post to The Opera House, 8 John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock, KA1 1DD. Representations should quote reference 20/0318/PP. Copies of the EIA Report may be purchased from Green Cat Renewables Ltd, Stobo House, Midlothian Innovation Centre, Roslin EH25 9RE at a cost of £250 (excluding landscape graphics) and £10 on CD. Copies of additional information may be purchased at a cost of £100 and £10 on CD.
Should additional environmental information be submitted by the applicant, that information will be publicised by East Ayrshire Council under Regulation 27 of the above Regulations and in a similar manner to the notification given under this notice. Any such publication will include details of how representations in relation to that additional information may be made. Possible decisions relating to the application are:?
(i) Approval of the application without conditions;
(ii) Approval of the application with conditions
(iii) Refusal of the application._
