Kenny Williams and Kid Fite will take centre stage at the upcoming ICW show, Fear and Loathng at the SECC VIII, on November 17. They will be joined by WWE legend Mick Foley, who is famed for his Cactus Jack and Mankind monickers.

The main event of the evening is set to see BBC One star Grado challenge former WWE heavyweight for the ICW Heavyweight title.

Three thousand tickets have already been sold for the much-anticipated event, which is set to draw its biggest for wrestling in the UK.

Kid Fite, who doubles as owner of Barrhead production Premier British Wrestling, insists it is an honour to be featured on the fight card.

He told Barrhead Sport: “The reason ICW is so different and is becoming one of the hottest companies in the world is down to the fact that it is an over 18 show.

“A lot of older fans that enjoyed WWE during the Attitude Era with the likes of DX and Austin have been put off WWE after they moved to be a more PG product.

“These fans come to ICW and remember why they used to love wrestling. It’s not just a wrestling show, its an experience and the SECC is going to be the biggest experience of them all for both the fans and wrestlers.” ICW, launched in Maryhill in 2006, has gained notoriety and recognition for its off the cuff performances.

It wasn’t long before the BBC took interest and gave the go ahead for the ‘Insane Fight Club’ documentary. After that aired, ICW really began to gain momentum selling out the ABC on Sauchiehall Street & The Barrowlands. Just this week will start its third UK tour taking in cities such as Glasgow, Dundee, Newcastle, Southampton, London, Liverpool, Norwich, Nottingham, Birmingham plus more. Kenny and myself are also set to appear on the tour which is aptly names ‘The Road To Fear And Loathing’ with the SECC showing being Fear and Loathing.
