The greenkeeping staff have been in top form as they managed to present the course in very good condition on Saturday, July 13.

The Ladies Silver Medal and this year’s ladies champion is Liz Hale who defeated Christine Wilson in the final to take home the prizes The Handicap Plate, as always, was a very tight affair with Paul Johnston winning with a net score of 69.

The boys junior championship was also a fiercely contested competition as the golfers looked to make a breakthrough in a very strong field.

This year’s boys junior champion did it in some style scoring a 67 in the morning round and followed that in the afternoon with a 71 = 138. Well done to Alistair McNaughton 2015 Junior Champion.

The gents championship was won by this years in-form player Christopher Williams who over the last year and half has come down from 14 to a staggering two shooting a 71-71 = 142 in very difficult morning conditions holding off a challenge from Paul Alexander.

Well done to all our club champions on a fantastic achievement.

Meanwhile, away from the action, Caldwell Golf Club have been in high spirits off the course.
