The Fereneze’s 57th Annual Burns Supper will be an evening of all things Robert Burns with his poems recited throughout the evening by members and special guests.
Captain David Leaf will welcome guests to the club before the evening begins officially with the Parade of the Haggis. Guest speakers will include the captains of Elderslie and Paisley Golf Club.
David Leaf, Fereneze GC captain, said: “I am really looking forward to hosting what should be a fantastic and very traditional evening at Fereneze Golf Club.
“It is always great fun to celebrate Scotland’s national poet and I am really looking forward to hearing all the recitals of the Bard’s poems.” A traditional menu will be on offer including Steak and Ale pie and of course haggis, neeps and tatties with the evening brought to an end with a group recital of ‘The Star O’ Rabbie Burns’.
