PLAYERS and fans of Arthurlie will look like it"s the start of the season when they play their next match.

They will look the part for the rest of the season after receiving their new Uhlsport home strips from Glasgow retailer Greaves Sports.

Management and players from the club popped into Greaves" Sauchiehall Street branch this week to collect the new gear which was embroidered in the store using Greaves" new Teamwear facility.

Greaves" Teamwear room creates strips for teams from all levels of football, from five-a-sides to junior and above, with an in-store graphic designer and embroiderer on hand to stitch on club crests and provide the perfect finish.

Uhlsport and Greaves are now official kit suppliers to Arthurlie Football Club and handed over the new home strips in Arthurlie"s traditional sky blue and white stripes.

The new kit is now available from both Greaves Sports branches on Sauchiehall Street and Gordon Street, as well as online at www.greavessports.com.

Frank Bannigan, football department manager at Greaves Sports, said: 'We are delighted to become involved in the kit supply of such a famous junior club as Arthurlie FC, which demonstrates our commitment to grassroots football.

'Uhlsport is a renowned and very professional kit manufacturer so I"m sure the new strips will be a big hit with the Arthurlie players.

'And I"m confident it will be even more popular with the fans who will now be able to buy their favourite club top at Greaves in Glasgow city centre.'

Greaves Sports is a family-run business which has been established in Glasgow since the 1960s with three stores - the Gordon Street and Sauchiehall Street shops and a Nike shop in Buchanan Galleries.

It also runs the Scottish Rugby store at Murrayfield as the official retail partner of Scottish Rugby and sponsors Lie"s junior league opponents, Petershill. 1
