NEILSTON secured a point against Port Glasgow on Saturday at Brig O'Lea.
The visitors were awarded a penalty after just 13 minutes when John Paterson was fouled in the box.
But Scott Nugent saw his spot-kick saved by keeper Dean Sexton.
Nugent almost made amends for his spot-kick miss with a free-kick from 25 yards which went inches over the bar.
The Farmer's Boys grabbed the opener when a clearance down the middle of the park deceived the Port's midfield and bounced over the defence to allow Darren Christie through on goal to put Neilston ahead.
But Port levelled seven minutes before the interval when Barry Docherty cut in from the touchline and fired a shot past Sexton. Neilston went ahead again after 53 minutes.
Murphy was played over by Lennox to find the head of Scott Anson, who bulleted a header past the Port's trialist keeper.
But on 66 minutes Nugent got on the score sheet.
A 60-yard diagonal ball flew over the home defence and was brought down by the striker, who fired it past Sexton to make it 2-2.
Port's trialist keeper made an mistake to gift Neilston a goal when he dropped the ball at the feet of Anson, who netted to put the home side ahead for the third time with just 10 minutes remaining.
With six minutes left Paterson beat two defenders and sent a cross to the back post, from where Frankie McKay headed home to make the final score 3-3.
