Neilston co-manager Martin Campbell has urged his players to quickly shrug off the disappointment of their Central League Cup exit and focus instead on their promotion push.
Campbell’s troops slumped to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Blantyre Vics on Saturday.
However, they have little time to feel sorry for themselves over the cup defeat as they will be back in action against promotion rivals Benburb at New Tinto Park tonight.
And Campbell is hoping for a positive reaction from his players.
He said: “There is probably not a lot we will take from Saturday’s game into this fixture.
“We made six changes on Saturday and gave boys some game time who maybe haven’t been involved the last couple of weeks.
“We will also be without Hamish McKinlay and John Mitchell, who are on loan from Stranraer, as they have duties with their own club but, apart from that, we have a fully-fit squad.
“This year, the aim was certainly promotion.”
