NEILSTON’S pre-season schedule got under way with a 2-0 win over Barrhead YFC under-21s at Cowan Park on Saturday.
It was New signing Craig Patterson who netted both goals as he made an immediate impression at the start of his spell with the Farmer’s Boys career.
The former Stenhousemuir and St Anthony’s striker only signed last week and was among a number of debutants for John Paul Dow on Saturday.
Dow is in charge of the team while fellow co-manager Martin Campbell is on holiday.
Neilston team: Nixon, Storrie, McLachlan, Payne, P Young, Geddes, D Young, Diack, Kennedy, Magennis, Stoney.
