With a week to go before their first pre-season game against Craigroyston, the Arthurlie squad were put through their paces with a double training session on Saturday.
A few of the players and coaching staff were unavailable due to holidays but there was a very healthy turnout as player/assistant manager Chris Mackie put the players through their paces.
Player/assistant manager Chris Mackie ensured there was an early start to work on core fitness, followed by a quick lunch then an open training session at Dunterlie Park where supporters were able to see some of the new arrivals for the first time.
Also on show was Arthurlie’s new home strip, which has been sponsored by StreetKings Tattoo Club of Dumbarton Road, Glasgow. Owner John Bradley is delighted to be sponsoring the kit, having been born and bred in Barrhead and he said: “There’s a lot of family history involved with Arthurlie and I grew up watching them so it’s great to give something back.
