16th Arthurlie’s Bryant and Semple were both on target, with McInnes adding a double, in a 4-1 victory over Moorepark Amateurs in the Renfrewshire Cup at Dunterlie in 1927.

Lie made it five wins on the bounce in 2011 when they dug deep to see off Kirkintilloch Rob Roy at Dunterlie Park. Goals from John Johnston and Denis McLaughlin were enough for Sandy McLean’s side to hold firm and secure three points.

18th It was the Pompey Cup that was up for grabs when Parkhead travelled to Barrhead in 1953. A double from Christie and another from Young secured a 3-3 draw with Arthurlie winning the replay 3-0. Christie, King, and Sneddon scored the goals as Arthurlie would eventually get to the third round where they fell to Renfrew in a replay.

Arthurlie gained a vital three points, after coming from behind to win 2-1 in a battling display against Cumnock at Townehead Park in 2009. Ian Cashmore opened the scoring for the hosts, only for Frank McKeown and Joe Andrew to seal the points for Mark Cameron’s side.

19th Scarffe hit Arthurlie’s goal in a 1-1 draw away to Dennistoun Waverly in 1952.

20th Arthurlie bowed out of the Kirkwood Shield at the first hurdle in 1962 as they went down 2-0 away to Strathclyde.

21st Arthurlie’s last game on season 1927-28 saw them travel east to face hosts Bathgate at Mill Park in a league match. Armstrong, McInnes, and a trialist were on the score sheet in a 3-2 win for the Barrhead side in front of a sparse 500 crowd.

22nd Bell was the scorer in a 1-1 draw when Arthurlie and Baillieston met in a league match in 1957. The Barrhead side endured a disappointing season finishing in 13th place in the league with a measly 17 points from a possible 60.
