by Kenny WIlson From the first whistle the conditions proved difficult in rain-soaked Neilston. Both sides struggled to get to grips with the soaking surface until the 12th minute when a goal mouth scramble was finished off, with Cameron HAGGARTY slotting the ball home for the Wee Lie to take the lead.

From then on Summerston found it impossible to penetrate the back four of McMillan, C Haggarty, Lithgow and Curran.

The 20 minute mark saw the best football the conditions would allow when a fine pass from defence was received by Ben Short from Harris Curran. This was placed into the path of the surging Bailey Haggerty who squared it to Ben HEARTON to strike it into the net.

HEARTON grabbed his second on 23 minutes with a lovely mazy run which left four defenders helpless before driving the ball home.

On 33 minutes a trademark Ben SHORT strike made it 4-0 at half-time.

The second half proved much the same as the first, with constant Arthurlie pressure.

A second-half hat trick from Bailey HAGGARTY with goals on 43, 50 and 51 minutes sealed the win.
