Tommy Craig, team coach, said: “The kids are delighted to receive the new strips — and everyone involved with the team would like to thank Travis Perkins, and especially employee Fraser McNichol, who set up the sponsorship.” Formerly the Barrhead Wasps, the club has changed its name to Neilston following their new affiliation with Neilston Juniors.
Coach John Paul added: “The club still train in Barrhead and we have a mixture of boys and girls from the Barrhead and Neilston area and without the help of the local community we could not operate, so sponsorship is very important.” Any other local business interested in sponsoring one of the sides can get in touch via the Neilston Wasps Facebook page.
