ARTHURLIE face their first away fixture of the season this weekend when they travel to newly promoted Beith.
‘Lie go into the tie at Bellsdale Park hoping to overcome their recent run of defeats.
They look set to come up against former Arthurlie men Stephen McKeown, Gary Wilson, Joe Bradley and Zander Ryan.
Also likely to play a part is former Neilston striker Darren Christie.
McKeown enjoyed a successful spell at Dunterlie after he was signed from Albion Rovers in 2010, during which time he was appointed captain of the side and lifted the 2011 Evening Times Cup.
Gavin Duncan admitted his side need to be consistent if they are be successful this season and need to enjoy a good start to the league.
He said: “If you look at the clubs who have finished high up in the last few seasons you can see that consistency is key.
“We have got to get off to a good start.” Neilston also face their first away tie of the season.
Andy Whiteford will be hoping his Farmer’s Boys can continue their solid start to the season following Saturday’s draw over Ardeer Thistle.
‘Ton make the trip through to Ayrshire to take on Peter Leonard’s side at Ladywell.
