NEILSTON boss Andy Whiteford has revealed he will run the rule over at least six trialist throughout pre season training.

The Farmer’s Boys are currently preparing for the step up to the Super League First following last season’s successful league campaign which saw them pip Shettleston to the Central District First title.

And, Whiteford admitted he will have a look a number of players in a bid to add depth to his squad.

He said: “I’ve spoken to a number of players about coming in so we can have a look at them.

“I will probably be looking at about six, seven or eight guys in certain positions which we feel we will need to strengthen.

“But, we are not looking to add to the squad unless we feel it is really necessary, no one will come in unless they will strengthen the side.”
