Arthurlie face a tricky trip to Ayrshire this weekend as they continue their bid to avoid relegation.

The Barrhead team go into the match against Beith at Bellsdale Park having picked up a point from each of their last two games in the West of Scotland Football League Premier Division.

A visit to fellow strugglers Glenafton last Tuesday night ended in a 1-1 draw, with Sam McKee putting the home side ahead before Dylan Dykes bagged an equaliser.

And it was the same scoreline on Saturday as Arthurlie earned a point at Benburb.

Lee Roulston fired the visitors in front but a goal from Declan McDonald early in the second half earned the hosts a point.

Arthurlie finished the match with 10 men after shot-stopper Max Clarke was dismissed, with midfielder Jordan Leyden being handed the gloves, as there was no substitute goalkeeper on the bench.

The draw leaves Arthurlie four points from safety ahead of this Saturday's game, which starts at 2pm.
