Arthurlie maintained their late promotion push with a 2-0 win at home to Benburb last night.
Rearranged after their meeting at Dunterlie back in December was abandoned at half-time with the sides all square, Lie secured maximum points thanks to efforts from Del McNab and Dan McKay either side of the break.
With Benburb already assured of promotion while still in the running for the league title, it was always going to be difficult for Duncan Sinclair's side but they started well, almost opening the scoring in the first minute when a James Marks header was turned away on the line.

The joint league leaders were playing some decent football as they looked to keep the pressure on Rutherglen Glencairn, forcing James Digney into a fine stop.
Up the other end, Arthurlie deservedly got their noses in front with a well-worked effort. A long ball into the box found Lee Roulston who dinked it over a defender into the path of McNab who coolly slotted it low beyond the visiting keeper.
The Bens thought they had hauled themselves before the break when Andy Wright's daisy cutter from the edge of the box evaded Digney only to crash back off the upright.
Digney was called into action minutes into the second-half, pulling off a fantastic stop from close-range after a powerful strike.
It was beginning to look like when not if the visitors would draw level with the away support's celebrations cut short after a header flew into the side netting.
After defending as well as they had done all season, the hosts went on to secure the points with 30 minutes remaining. Roulston slipped a nothing ball through the Bens' defence which was well intercepted, but the centre-back dallied on the ball long enough for McKay to nick possession and fire home Lie's second.

Sinclair rung the changes in the final minutes and although the visitors had a fair amount of possession, they never really threatened as Arthurlie ran out deserved winners which ensures the last two games of the season have real meaning once again with promotion back in their own hands.
