THINGS are set to get messy for a Barrhead wrestler as he prepares to take on 29 opponents – all at the same time.

Kid Fite, who also runs a wrestling school in the town, will enter the Scottish equivalent of WWE’s Royal Rumble this Sunday.

Called ‘Square Go’ and taking place at the SWG3, in Glasgow, the event is a 30-person over-the-top-rope match with a twist, as ‘anything goes.’

The winner is the last person standing in the ring who has eliminated all the other opponents and who will win a chance to compete for the ICW World Heavyweight Championship.

Kid Fite, whose real name is Ross Watson, said: “As one of the few wrestlers still in ICW from its inception in 2006, my plan at the Square Go is to make ICW and their fans take notice.

“I’m done having no direction and just taking part. I’m in it to win it and I’ll not stop until I win a World Title opportunity in the top independent wrestling company in Europe.”
