Barrhead Bowling Club held their Championship final last weekend with former club president Colin Reddy triumphing over fellow former president Zander Irvine.
Reddy has been there or thereabouts over the years with a number of semi and quarter-final appearances.
But the 48-year-old was victorious this year, clinching his second Club Championship - 17 years after winning his first.
Reddy, club president back in 2008, and Irvine, president one year later in 2009, have been good friends since their presidencies and both competed in a friendly final.
Elsewhere, the club also won the prestigious Renfrewshire Inter County Cup.
