Scottish TWO Barrhead YFC teams have had their Scottish Cup final dates confirmed.

Barrhead YFC under-21s and 2003 Reds have the chance to claim the most coveted prize in Scottish youth football next month and make club history at the same time.

It is the first time in Barrhead YFC’s history that the club has had two teams in the final of the country’s most prestigious competition in the same year, and a Scottish Cup double would be up there with the club’s greatest successes.

The under-21s will face Rutherglen Glencairn at Airdrie’s Excelsior Stadium on Sunday, May 7, kick-off 11am.

While the 2003 Reds will be in action at the same stadium two weeks later when they take on Banks O’Dee Albion on Sunday, May 21, kick-off 1.30pm.

The 2003 side have a chance at completing a stunning treble.

They remain in the hunt for the league title as the season comes to a close and also have the West Region Cup final to look forward to.
