FLAIR Gymnastics Club were in the medals at the Scottish Gymnastics Women’s Artistic Floor and Vault competition at Bell’s Sports Centre in Perth.

The club is based at Barrhead Foundry and only formed in January, but that didn’t stop their young gymnasts from outperforming the competition at the event.

Two Flair teams won gold and silver respectively, while several of the individual gymnasts placed as well.

After starting up in January, the club competed in its first competitions in May and June. There is now Flair teams at multiple levels on the podium at national events.

At the Women’s Artistic Floor and Vault competition, Flair had 27 gymnasts competing and the following results: Gold for the under-11s team: Amy Pattison, Carla McLachlan, Emma Wilson, Ellie McIntyre.

Silver for the eight-year-olds team: Chloe Anderson, Heather Sinclair and Lois Anderson.

Individual silver for Ellie McIntyre on Floor, as well as fifth place overall in the 10-11s category.

Individual sixth place all-around for Mili MacFarlane, with fourth place on Floor.

Individual fifth place on Floor for Natalie Behloul in the eight-year-olds category in her first ever competition appearance.

Individual sixth place on Vault for Orla McIlwham in the 10-11s.
