St Mirren came from behind to secure their first home win of the season against Alloa Athletic at Paisley 2021 Stadium.
The Wasps took the lead on nine minutes when they were awarded a spot kick after a Tom Lang shot hit Keith Watson on the hand.
Isaac Layne stepped up and sent Jamie Langfield the wrong way with a well-struck shot.
The home side battled back and drew level shortly before half-time when Watson made up for his earlier handball with a crisp finish on 37 minutes.
Saints pressed forward after the break and were rewarded on the hour when Calum Gallagher nodded a looping header over a despairing Alloa keeper.
In the closing minutes Saints sealed victory when Stephen Mallan finished off a quick counter attack with a third strike that earned the home side a well-deserved and long-awaited home win.
