A.P. SCOTT - GENTS OPEN SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6 Caldwell are delighted to announce that this years A.P. Scott will be sponsored by Mactaggart and Mickel. Entry to the competition is still open, and there is plenty of time ahead of next Sunday’s Open Competition.

The competition is open to all amateur golfers who are full members of a recognised golf club and are aged 18 or over. The maximum handicap is 18 and a handicap certificate is required.

The entry fee is £14. Further details and an entry form are available for download from the home page of the club website or golfers can contact the pro-shop to book a time.

Book Launch Caldwell Golf Club are delighted to announce that long term supporter of Caldwell, Pamela Duncan, will be launching her latest novel “Club Force” on Friday, September 9 at 7:15pm in the clubhouse.

Pamela began writing crime novel Club Force, in the clubhouse, is written with a golf course background and is dedicated to the club’s membership.

As it’s a murder story so should appeal to the men as well as the ladies.

This is a free event and there will be a free glass of wine and nibbles available to all attending the night.

The club would also like to off their congratulations to Willie McGuire and Fulton Arthur who came second in the Belhaven Qualifier at Erskine last Friday with a score of 65 and have now qualified for the grand final in February at The Regnum Carya Golf and Spa Resort in Belek Turkey next February.

WINTER MEMBERSHIPS AT CALDWELL With summer almost over Caldwell Golf Club have announced their new winter membership.

Play from 1st October 2015 to 28th February 2016 will be available for £150.

This would give golfers full access to the course and facilities. If you were then to convert to a full membership on 1st March 2016 then £50 is deducted from this cost.
