There are many things on my mind this week. I’m going to talk about a bunch of them.

First of all, I haven’t seen Avengers: Infinity War yet but everyone tells me I should.

And I feel like I should retract my article last week about spoilers – I don’t want to know about Infinity War.

Meanwhile, so-called ‘Star Wars Day’ on May the 4th was driving me mad.

Star Wars was released on May 25th, 1977. I get it kind of sounds like ‘May the Force’ and I’m likely being a fun sponge but stop it – stop it now.

Also annoying me this week is Kanye West. In fact, I have a message for Kanye and it is this: ‘Please shut up. I know you think you’re clever and a visionary and whatever else but, really, you’re not.’

As far as I’m concerned, if Kanye is going to act like a toddler then he should expect to get treated like one.

On a more positive note, Stuart Dickson made a return to Pulse 98.4 at the weekend.

Stuart had left the station a few years ago but I’m delighted to help welcome him back. He’s the person I refer to as the “nice man.”

He put my last show, the Big Drive Home, on the air and was a major supporter of me early on when I needed it.

It’s likely that, without him, I wouldn’t be at Pulse.

Finally, I’d like to point out the loss of my beloved Toronto Maple Leafs to the Boston Bruins in game seven of the 2018 NHL Stanley Cup playoffs.

I guess, technically, congratulations should go to the Bruins and I should wish them good luck in the second bracket, although at the time of writing, they trail a game to the Tampa Bay Lightnings.

Also ignore the fact I said that through gritted teeth. Next year will be our year, Leafs Nation! Next year...
