TWO women were arrested in connection with a spate of thefts from a Barrhead supermarket.
The pair, both aged 39, have been charged with allegedly shoplifting from the town's Asda store earlier this month.
Police say several items were stolen from the supermarket between Sunday, June 4 and Friday, June 9.
A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
