AN INNOVATIVE new coffee store has opened in Barrhead - styling itself as East Renfrewshire's first ever drive-thru for thirsty drivers. The Paisley Road shop Coffeze is based at the long-abandoned Maxwell Garage site and aims to help thirsty commuters on their way to work.
The shop employs specially trained Barrhead barristas and is open between 6.30am to 6.30pm every weekday.
The idea came from brothers Timothy and Chris Peyton, after being inspired by similar ideas which have become a big hit in Australia.
The shop features two drive-thru windows for motorists and a walk-up window for pedestrians, so Barrhead residents should never have to miss out on their coffee fix again. To celebrate the opening of Coffeze, Barrhead News readers can take advantage of a special deal.
Coffeze is offering readers any regular hot drink & any snack for just 2.50. That's almost half price!
All you have to do to take advantage is take a copy of the News to Coffeze, 60-80, Paisley Road Barrhead. One offer per customer. Normal terms and conditions apply.
