A CHARITY campaigner from Barrhead has been named as the town's breast cancer champion.
Fiona Morton will be working with Breakthrough Breast Cancer's to promote its breast awareness message - Touch Look Check or TLC.
She will now champion promoting this message to women across Glasgow and by talking informally to friends and family.
The TLC approach encourages women to - Touch their breasts to feel for anything unusual; - Look for changes in shape or texture; - Check anything unusual with their doctor.
Fiona said: "It was a terrific training event and it was great to receive training as a Talk TLC Champion to help spread Breakthrough Breast Cancer's breast awareness message. If women start to check their breasts as a result of this we will have made a difference."
