The schedule for Sunday's hotly anticipated Monte Carlo Rally has been revealed.

Between 11am to 2pm the cars will make the short journey from the Beardmore Hotel to Clydebank College.

At 2pm the excitement steps up a gear with stalls, exhibits, music and entertainment.

There will also be appearances from The Cup Cakes who will be performing a 10 -15 minute act every hour from 2pm.

Then at 5.30pm the long awaited event starts as the first car sets off on its thrilling 28-hour journey to Monte Carlo at the start ramp.

Thereafter the first cars leave at approximately one minute intervals then at 30 second intervals.

They will be trailed by the Clydebank Cannonball, aka reporter Andrew Gibson and photographer Stewart Robertson, who will follow the drivers all the way to Monte Carlo in a bid to raise money for Help 4 Heroes.

The daring duo will travel in a Toyota Yaris covered in camouflage, kindly donated by Helensburgh Toyota.

Several more cars will be taking part in the Heritage Rally to Drymen.
