Pictures have emerged from the moment the blaze that destroyed Glasgow's Fruit Market took hold.
Workers can be seen leaving the warehouse as flames gather at the site on Blochairn Road.
The pictures show the warehouse just moments before it was engulfed in flames.
A worker told the Evening Times of his terror when the flames took hold.
He said: "One minute we were working away quite the thing and then all off a sudden there was this massive blaze that scared the s**t out of us.
"Guys were just shouting fire, fire and we all ran to get away.
"Thankfully nobody was hurt."
Intial reports of the fire came in at 3.44am on Thursday morning and more than 40 fire fighters were sent to the scene.
Twelve fire engines were sent to the scene, along with an air appliance.
Fire crews are expected to remain at the site for the rest of day.
Speed restrictions are in place on the M8 and Blochairn Road is closed between Royston Road and Siemens Place.
