As thousands of pupils across Scotland break open their SQA results, the team at everyone’s favourite restaurant is giving out free chicken to Highers pupils.

Helping students across the nation celebrate, Nando’s has this morning announced it will give out either a quarter chicken or fire-starter on the house for those who pop in and present their certificate.

It’s as simple as that: visit your nearest restaurant and show your results in confidence, along with a form of valid ID.

Remember, it’s only for today, so be quick.

Tens of thousands of pupils have been finding out their grades as the SQA publishes exam results.

Royal Mail has delivered around 136,500 certificates to pupils across Scotland who have taken SQA exams, including Highers and Nationals.

All candidates have been receiving their results by post while those with active MySQA accounts will also receive their grades by text message and/or email from 8am on August 8.
