Youngsters from different years gave up their own time after school hours to make the cakes on Thursday before they were sold at a big bake sale on Friday in the school.
However it was S1 pupils who had the biggest hand in making the cakes, and they managed to raise £215 by selling off the delicious iced treats.
Our photographer Joe Mulgrew was on hand at the school’s home economics lab as pupils got stuck in.
Deputy head teacher Emma Gordon said: “We raised £215. Special thanks to our catering staff, especially Mrs Cormie, plus Miss Taylor and Mrs Merrick who supported S1 pupils in making the cakes. They were delicious.”
