A tricolour beagle, Hamish is described as shy and may run form anyone that approaches him.
He also has his lead still attached and a search is ongoing.
Hamish was last seen leaving a field just off Fereneze Road, past Gateside village, and past the Killoch Glen.
His normal stomping ground is around Barrhead's quarry, trees Park and the Fereneze Golf Course.
People all around Barrhead are asked to keep an eye out, especially around Paisley Road, Victoria Road, Tesco, Lochlibo Road, Dalmeny area.
Hamish still has a blue lead attached and residents are asked to contact the owner, Stuart, on 07765115283.
