Staff and students at the Barrhead school are thrilled at posted a significant increases in their performances at all levels – Intermediate, Higher and Advanced Higher.
So it was an exciting return for pupils who have once again ‘raised the bar’, said head teacher Patricia Scott.
Mrs Scott said: “What a start to the new academic session for senior students at St Luke’s who received those record-breaking results.
“Their hard work and determination, alongside the commitment and support from their teachers, has paid off and students, teachers, parents and carers are incredibly proud of this ongoing success.
“At the same time, the new first-year pupils began their secondary school careers in St Luke’s High amid great anticipation – and perhaps a little nervousness.
“The boys and girls arrived ‘dressing for excellence’ and looking absolutely fantastic, thanks to their proud parents and carers.
“After being welcomed to the school and a quick stop for a photo opportunity, they began their new timetables in earnest.
“Good luck to first year and all pupils and staff – bring it on.”
