East Renfrewshire’s Early Year Collaborative in partnership with the Aurs Drive Centre are inviting residents to Lets Get Cooking Sessions.
The purpose of the sessions is to involve families, and the local community in cooking and food activities Each session will state safety issues, including food safety and hygiene, discuss adapting recipes for a healthy diet, help youngsters recognise the benefits of budget planning in menu planning and identify the benefits of home cooking to convenience cooking. Up to 12 participants can take part in the taster sessions on Friday August 1 and Friday, August 8 from 10.30am until 12.30pm Children 7 years and over can participate and a crèche is available for children under 7 years.
