15-year-old Niamh Cockton, from Clarkston, was reported missing after her parents discovered she wasn't in her room a short while after going to bed.
Her family became increasingly concerned for her safety as she had recently been dealing with some personal issues.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "The missing person has been traced safe and well."
