All this month, dedicated officers will be out on patrol and will be paying special attention to illegal and inconsiderate parking outside Barrhead’s primary schools.
The operation was launched in the area after police received a number of complaints from both councillors and parents.
The concerns prompted a swift response from police and uniformed officers will now begin patrolling the streets surrounding Barrhead’s primary schools and the main entrances at opening and closing times.
One of the schools on the dodgy driver hit list is Carlibar Primary.
