The seminar, being held at Voluntary Action, Barrhead, will take place on Thursday, March 20.
It will give residents the opportunity to put questions to the police, solicitors, trading standards officers and social carers who work with at risk adults.
The seminar follows the introduction of the Adult Support and Protection Act, which protects people who may be at risk because of a disability, illness or mental disorder.
