ERSKINE supporters are being urged to slip on their running shoes and help raise vital funds for Scottish veterans at the West Dunbartonshire Polaroid 10k race series.

Erskine is on the hunt for runners of all abilities to run this year's four races which take place in Clydebank, Dumbarton, Vale of Leven and Helensburgh over May and June.

Entrants will benefit from a special discount if they also sign up to all races in an effort to raise much-needed funds for ex-Service men and women.

The races being held are:

Helensburgh Polaroid 10k - Thursday 17th May

Clydebank Polaroid 10k - Thursday 24th May

Dumbarton Polaroid 10k - Thursday 31st May

Vale of Leven Polaroid 10k - Sunday 10th June

Alan Moss, Erskine Fundraiser, said: "The Polaroid 10k series is for runners of all abilities and is a great opportunity for all runners to challenge themselves. Time is running out to join this year's Polaroid series races, so please give us a call today and help us to raise vital funds for the ex-Service men and women in our care. Your support is vital because we must raise £144,000 each week to continue to provide the high standard care our brave veterans so richly deserve."

Erskine will support all fundraisers every step of the way when they sign up to join Team Erskine. Entrants will be provided with an Erskine t-shirt and information pack with all the details needed to take part.

Erskine has five care homes across Scotland caring for over 1,300 veterans every year.

For a free running pack, please call 0141 814 4555 or email team@erskine.org.uk.
