MURDER BID ON TWO TEENAGERS

A week of violence on the streets of Barrhead has left four youths in hospital.

Police say they are stepping up their manhunt after TWO murder bids and TWO serious assaults within a three mile perimeter.

They are appealing for the public to contact them with information after:

A 16 year old boy was left for dead lying in a pool of blood

An attempted murder on a 19 year old man who was stabbed on the back and slashed on the face

Two men, aged 20 and 21, were left with serious injuries after an attack involving tonic wine bottles.
