A FUNDRAISER at the centre of one of Scotland"s biggest charity scandals is operating a new scheme selling cancer 'newsletters' in Barrhead at £3 a time.
Bruno Schultz, nicknamed "The Vulture", was accused three years ago of raising £300,000 a year for the Moonbeams Charity for sick kids - but handing over only £50,000.
Now the 55-year-old is using a legal loophole to charge £3 for each Rosebuds magazine which contains basic facts about cancer.
And because the small print explains Rosebuds is a private firm, NOT a charity, there is nothing Scotland"s charity regulator can do to stop him.
The Barrhead News was alerted to the scheme by a local resident who was persuaded to buy the newsletter from a cold caller.
