CHILDREN in Neilston have got on their bikes to promote safe cycling.
The youngsters at Neilston Primary signed up for the Bike Trains project, led by Neilston Development Trust and organised as part of PedalwiseER, which works with schools and businesses to enable active travel and reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
David Bonnar, the school’s acting depute headteacher, said: “The Bike Trains were a terrific way of encouraging family and friends to cycle together to school.
“The children who took part were a credit to themselves and they participated fully in the event.
“It is great to see the children so enthusiastic about cycling and having real enjoyment in doing so.”
