CHILDREN donned their aprons at The Bank in Neilston at the weekend as they whipped up some treats as part of the Easter holiday programme.

Put together by Totnosh, a provider of children’s cookery classes, the afternoon gave kids the chance to improve their skills in the kitchen.

As part of the Easter holidays programme at The Bank, the food on offer followed this theme, with Easter cupcakes and bunny quiches the order of the day.

Run by Louisa McKay, Totnosh offers creative cookery classes for budding chefs, together with parents or carers.

Suitable for children aged two to five, the sessions are designed to encourage an interest in food and healthy eating from an early age.

Around a dozen children were taught some basics on Saturday, before sampling the fruits of their labour.

As well as classes organised by community groups such as the Neilston Development Trust, Totnosh can also be booked for schools, nurseries or private parties.
