A CARING pair of Neilston teenagers will host a bric-a-brac sale this weekend to raise funds for a special school trip.

Ryan Catterson and Morven Considine, who are pupils at Eastwood High, in Newton Mearns, need to raise £2,000 each to be able to go to Malawi in November.

The trip will give 25 local youngsters the chance to work with disadvantaged African children.

Ryan and Morven, both 16, will stage the fundraising event at the Bank Café, in Neilston, on Saturday, from 1pm to 3.30pm.

Guests can take part in a lucky dip and search for bargains at various stalls. There will also be face painting for children.

Running from 1pm to 3.30pm, the pupils hope their fellow villagers will help them build on the £400 they have already raised.
