Operation Monarder Two will focus on prevention, intelligence and enforcement, helping residents defend themselves from rogue traders in the area.
Taking place between April 17 and 18, the operation will involve police tying in with councils.
Together they will be highlighting the risk of allowing rogue traders into the home and giving out advice on how to protect yourself from people claiming to be someone they are not.
The days of action follow East Renfrewshire Trading Standards team’s recent bid to cut down on the number of rogue traders and bogus workmen operating in the area.
