POLICE are appelaing for help to find a missing teenager who was last spotted in Barrhead.
Sarah Foy, 15, from Kilburnie Road in Lochwinnoch, was last seen in Main Street, Barrhead, at around 6.20pm on Sunday.
Sarah is said to have disappeared before, but never for this length of time.
She is described as 5ft 2, of slim build, with a pale complexion, light brown collar length hair and brown eyes.
When last seen she was wearing a green camouflage jacket, with cream fur around the hood, dark coloured skinny jeans and red trainers.
Police Constable Lewis Grant, of Renfrew Police Office, said: “Police officers have been speaking to family and friends in an effort to trace Sarah, who has went missing before but never for this length of time.
"As times goes on we are becoming more concerned for her wellbeing.
“We have reason to believe she may be in the Bellshill area, however would encourage anyone who may have seen someone matching her description in either Bellshill, Barrhead or the Lochwinnoch area to come forward and contact us.
“Sarah, we would also appeal to you to come forward, let us know you are okay and go home.”
Anyone with information on her whereabouts should contact police via 101.
